Analysing the historic 16th Non-Aligned Movement Conference

Tere N.A.M. !!

Analysing the historic 16th Non-Aligned Movement Conference 2012, held in Tehran.

Marathi Patrakar Sangh, opp CST, Mumbai. Thursday, 6th August, 5.30-6.30pm.

Speakers: Kishore Jagtap (Founder, Marathi Bharti), Feroze Mithiborwala (Founder-Pr
esidernt, BHarat Bachao Andolan), Aslam Ghazi (Secretary, Jamat i Islami, Maharashtra), Meraj Siddiqui (Convenor, Muslim Intellectual Forum), Jyoti Badekar (President, Marathi Bharti), Siddharth Ugade (Phule-Ambedakar Vichar Manch) & Mulniwasi Mala (President, Indian Social Front)

The Indian & Global corporate media has either downplayed the NAM conference or has targeted & vilified it. On the other hand, the NAM has now emerged as the main anti-imperialist bloc where 120 countries are today members of this formation, with great potential for the near future. We must indeed be proud, that as it was India that was amongst the 5 key nations that laid the foundations for NAM, for this anti-imperialist bloc. Also it was India & PM Manmohan Singh who was the most important & respected guest in Tehran, yet the media refused to acknowledge this changing political reality & the recalibration of our foreign policy.
But our corporate media journalists who for the most are ignoramuses, or worse, directly on the payroll of the American-Israelis have truly stand exposed - once again - in their utter shameful dishonesty.

Thus as part of our ongoing struggle, we have decided to organise a public discussion on this truly historic meeting, which will prove to be a milestone in the global struggle against imperialism, Zionism & capitalism & for a world that is free of hegemonic US & Western domination & built on the values of freedom., democracy, socialist justice & free of religious fanaticism & wars.

In Solidarity with the People of the World!!

In solidarity with the NAM nations!!
