Date: 2nd July, 2010 (Friday) / Time: 3pm

An Indian Muslim, Mr. Muhammad (Civil Engineer) strolling along Nariman Point & around the general area of the Israeli Embassy, was accosted by the Embassy Security & then later taken in for questioning by the Marine Drive Police Station. After hours of humiliation, the Police told him -
"Why do you have to go 'there' with such a long beard".
So now Indian Muslims will have to live by the norms as set by Israel & it's trained cronies within the Police & Security apparatus??

We have thus decided to organize a protest against the increasing Islamophobia & demonization of Muslims.
We need to step forward to defend the secular & plural ethos of our mega-polis.
We thus appeal to all Mumbaikars' to join the protest wherein Beards are compulsory.
